Hi again! We took a week off last week just because it was the start of school. Every mom needs a week off due to start of school. All the feels come out and everyone needs mom 🙂

The Women by Kristin Hannah: We had one little escape before the start of school and this book was sitting on a night stand. I haven’t read a book in a while and it just felt right. Such a good read! I do love books that are historical fiction and this one does the trick. It is captivating from the start and Kristin Hannah keeps you guessing. If you have read the The Nightingale, then you will love The Women. You can read a synopsis in the link, but just trust me.

Sharpie Pens: I don’t know about you, but I love office supplies. I have tried every pen known to man but always come back to these. These Sharpies are the felt tip pens. They don’t bleed through a page, I love the colors to use on a calendar or in my planner, and I love a fine point pen. Treat yourself to some mom pens for back to school shopping.

OXO Pop Storage Container: Several years ago I got a wild hair to organize my pantry. I am so happy I did because it is a space that can get easily cluttered and messy but these containers along with my spice organization have the angels singing when I open my panty now. I love these big containers because it holds a 5lb bag of flour or sugar. So I have several for almond flour, all purpose flour, bread flour, oatmeal, rice, and my coffee. I love the simple clean lines and no mess from bags. Win!

Steele Canvas Laundry Hamper: This is a splurge purchase, but I have zero regrets. I got wind of these laundry baskets many years ago and eyed them for over 2 years before actually buying one. Once we moved, the set up of our new house seemed like a good fit. This laundry basket is beyond sturdy with caster wheels. I can empty the dryer 3 times at least and wheel it into the living room and fold clothes. I love not having to carry a basket through the house. It is also aesthetically pleasing to my eye. If you haven’t noticed a theme here on N.O.W., it is that we like things to look simple, clean, and nice, and be functional.
